Dos Rios, California

Dos Rios which means Two Rivers in its English translation is an autonomous municipal in the County of Mendocino, California. It is set 7 miles east-southeast of Laytonville, at a height of 961 feet. It was named Two Rivers in 1912 and the name was changed in 1915 to Dos Rios. The name come from the proximity of the town’s location to the joining together of the Middle Fork of the Eel River with the Eel River proper.
