Fort Bragg was Native American Indians’ home in the past that belonged to the Pomo tribe. One of the point of interest in Fort Bragg is the Glass Beach located at the edge of Fort Bragg town, very near the ocean. This used to be called “The Dump”, which used to be the area where the residents of Fort Bragg threw their trash. Over the decades the waves has cleansed the beach and smoothened the glasses thrown many years back covering the beach with smooth colored glass today.
