Known for its town charm, Sebastopol is a town situated north of San Francisco. It is one of the places in California where wine grapes, plum and apples are grown. This Sonoma city became known as “Gravenstein Apple Capital of the World”.
The city hosts a yearly Gravenstein Apple Fair and Apple Blossom Festival.The apple industry provided prosperity to this town since it was founded in 1850. Majority of lands flourished as vineyards up to the present. This fertile region is located between Bodega Bay and Santa Rosa; the Pacific Ocean is also close to Sebastopol.

Friday evenings, March 31 - April 21, 2023 (4 sessions). You will learn the basic skills of wheel-throwing. There will be an initial demo on throwing, trimming, and glazing and you will also receive one-on-one guidance. Come prepared to get messy and have fun!

For students who have previously taken both hand-building and wheel-throwing classes with me, this class is your space to create and be in a like-minded community. You will have one-on-one guidance and access to a fully-equipped ceramics studio.

Pete Floyd is a Sonoma/Marin based Pink Floyd tribute band made of 8 all-star musicians led by two Petes: Pete Delaney of the Grain and Avocado Sundae and Pete Hale of the Hots and Dictator Tots. We invite you to close your eyes and sway to the sounds as so many sell-out audiences have done in large shows, festivals, and private concerts over the past year.

Enjoy creating a collage with local foraged native plants that can be preserved and viewed in a natural wood shadow box. Create a magical faery layer, a forest floor, a mossy habitat, and more with intricate lichen, acorns and floral abundance. Using extra strength hot glue we will create inspiring compositions of the organic.

Skull & Roses is the ultimate Deadhead destination festival, and they are taking the show on the road once again to get your motor runnin’ with an exciting night of live Dead. Featuring two fantastic SoCal Grateful Dead Tribute Bands, Cubensis & The Alligators.

Wednesdays, April 5-26, 2023 (4 sessions). This is a great class for those who want to enjoy building something with their own hands and experience the personal benefits of working with clay. Instruction will cover the basics of wheel throwing, hand-building (slab, coil, freeform), and glazing techniques.

Come play with clay!! This is the prefect class to introduce you to most methods of working with clay. The class will focus on the potters wheel and hand building techniques like slab, coil, and pinch to create cups bowls and other shapes to make our pottery projects. We will finish, fire and glaze our project for you to enjoy for years to come.

David Nelson is a founding member of the New Riders of the Purple Sage and long time musical partner of Jerry Garcia’s dating back to 1962 in the pre-Grateful Dead bluegrass band, The Wildwood Boys. Nelson was also a member of the Jerry Garcia Acoustic Band and performed on three Grateful Dead albums.

Rising Appalachia’s soulful folk-roots sound traces back to parents who prioritized culture and diversity, and to the grassroots music communities that dot the hills and valleys of the Deep South. Countless weekends spent at fiddle camps like the Swannanoa Gathering, immersed in what they affectionately call “Appalachian trance music.”

These workshops are geared to the advanced, ongoing students who want in-person instruction and feedback on their colored pencil projects. It is more of a concept rather than a band name, So Many Roads describes the long strange trip that the band and their devoted fan base have made over the years. All are accepted here.

GA-20 clearly is on to something big. It’s a movement, a new traditional blues revival. The dynamic, throwback blues trio are disciples of the place where traditional blues, country and rock ‘n’ roll intersect. “We make records that we would want to listen to,” says guitarist Matt Stubbs. “It’s our take on the song-based traditional electric blues we love.”

The core of The Soul Section as with any great funk band is the rhythm section, which started playing together more than twenty years ago. The beat begins and ends with drummer Michael J. Perez. Mike started playing drums at an early age, honing his skills playing in drum corps, touring the country in a nationally renowned group.

Imagine and create jewel-like art by working with beautiful vitreous (glass) enamel colors fired on fine silver! Cloisonné on fine silver is an ancient technique for decorating fine silver objects with colored vitreous (glass) enamel. The colors are separated by thin strips of fine silver wire and fired in the kiln at 1450 degrees for 1 ½ minutes.

We will paint a still life with several objects and fruits. Each object in the painting has ten strokes. You may enhance each object with a few more strokes. We will start with the color mixing and move on to the still life.

You will learn how to make pottery with both hard and soft slabs. The slab building technique involves rolling out clay to an even thickness - usually 1 cm - then cutting shapes, folding, bending, manipulating and joining together to form a finished object.

Tenacious, innovative string musicians/percussive dancers, Evie Ladin & Keith Terry combined their Oakland, CA-based groups Evie Ladin Band / Keith Terry & Crosspulse for a big festival commission. The experience of both performers and audience was so hot, it sparked the desire for more.

Every Other Monday. February 6th & 20th, March 6th & 20th, April 3rd & 17th. Free to play and just a chill way to hang out with a couple of friends on an otherwise boring Monday. It happens every other week at 6PM and space is limited so show up early and grab a card.

Third Thursday of the Month. Fynch Meep Plays From 7:30 to Last Call. Host Nick Pim will be guiding us through our first foray into the unpredictably entertaining world of the open mic. If you’ve got a song you like, a joke to tell, a poem you’ve been working on or any other talent you’d like to share bring what you need.
