Westport is one of the northernmost towns of the county and is a petite boasting town with a meager population. The town is tranquil, with breath-taking scenery and has proven to be an excellent escape from the hustles of a metro life. Among the recreational activities, horseback riding, campsites and fishing are popular along with the Sinkyone State Park and the Westport-Union Landing State Beach.
