Located in the scenic Russian River Valley of Northern Sonoma County, the town of Windsor has a rich history dating back to its settlement in 1855. Renowned for its picturesque landscapes and vibrant wine culture, Windsor earned its name from a pony express rider who likened its beauty to the surroundings of Windsor Castle in England.

Today, Windsor remains a charming destination, attracting visitors with its tranquil ambiance and plethora of wineries. Families especially appreciate the town's welcoming atmosphere, featuring delightful shops, expansive parks, and diverse dining options.

The bustling Old Downtown Windsor exudes energy, while the Town Green, spanning 4.5 acres, serves as a focal point for community gatherings and recreational activities throughout the year. In the summer, locals flock to this vibrant space for outdoor movie screenings and community concerts, further enhancing the town's lively spirit. Windsor Golf Club is a popular destination here.
