Fort Ross Conservancy created a scholarship fund to ensure that all students have access to great outdoor programming, regardless of income level.
Please consider making a donation today so that we can bring all students to Fort Ross to experience our diverse natural and cultural history.
This fund supports both our Marine Ecology and our Environmental Living programs.
The FRC Education fund has received support from local community members, the California Coastal Commission, and the Renova Fort Ross Foundation.
We offer scholarships or fee waivers for two different youth programs held at Fort Ross State Historic Park:
- Enviromental Living Program, a living history program that teaches 4th and 5th grade students about the cultural history of Fort Ross.
- Marine Ecology Program, a hands-on ocean-based citizen science, environmental educational and monitoring program for teachers, students and parents. Application forms available online.
