Fort Ross Conservancy created a scholarship fund to ensure that all students have access to great outdoor programming, regardless of income level.
Please consider making a donation today so that we can bring all students to Fort Ross to experience our diverse natural and cultural history.
This fund supports both our Marine Ecology and our Environmental Living programs.
The FRC Education fund has received support from local community members and the California Coastal Commission.
We offer scholarships or fee waivers for all our educational programs held at Fort Ross, and Salt Point State Parks:
- Environmental Living Program, a living history program that teaches 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students about the cultural history of Fort Ross.
- Marine Ecology Program, a hands-on ocean-based citizen science, environmental educational and monitoring program for teachers, students and parents. Application forms available online.
- Educational Opportunities, for those groups that cannot sign up for a whole MEP or ELP, we offer Educational Opportunities that can run for one to four hours, delving into the natural marine ecology or cultural history of Fort Ross. Application forms available online.
